Thanksgiving is going to be a lot different this year with the coronavirus pandemic, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t listen to some good music while dinner is going on.
With that said, Apple Music could be the gateway to doing that this year for you and your family and friends.
The first option is going to be Apple Music’s “Thanksgiving Dinner” playlist. This is a playlist made by the folks at Apple and contains songs that make for some good background music and others that some people in the room might want to sing to.
Another option is “Thanksgiving: The Gravy Train” by SFJAZZ. As you can probably tell, this playlist has nothing but jazz music on it, which can be perfect when setting a relaxing mood while preparing for Thanksgiving dinner.
This next one may be more so made for the upcoming Christmas holiday, but since we as a nation tend to get Christmas stuff out earlier each year, I will still count it.
It is the Apple Music Holiday Cocktail Party playlist. In it, one will find jazzy Christmas and holiday music. Perhaps if you are a big Christmas person, this is the one you play before your guests arrive (if you are having any this year).
My last choice of music you will have to choose from is actually quite an interesting one. Believe it or not, it is actually a movie soundtrack.
That soundtrack is from the movie “Stuck in Love” and is called “The Writer’s Playlist.” Coming from someone who has listened to this, you’ll find music that is soothing for the soul, as well as soft and relaxing. Part of the movie does deal with the Thanksgiving holiday, hence why it is a choice on this list.
Apple Music is available to stream on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV, Apple Watch, HomePod, Mac, select Smart TVs, Roku devices and Amazon Fire TV.
Are there any other good radio stations or playlists that are Thanksgiving-related on Apple Music that we have missed out on? Also, how are you celebrating Thanksgiving this year? Let us know on Twitter at @appleosophy.
