Apple’s long-rumored AirTags trackers will reportedly cost around $39.99 and will be slightly larger than a 50 cent coin.
According to Apple leaker Max Weinbach via EverythingApplePro, the item tracker will price around $39.99, which is $10 more than Galaxy SmartTags ($29.99).
Weinbach also states that AirTags will have one size, being circular (32mm x 32mm x 6mm) which puts the tracker in the middle between Galaxy SmartTags (39mm x 39mm x 9mm) and Tile Sticker (27mm x 7.3mm).
On April 2, 2020, AirTags was accidentally confirmed by Apple when Appleosophy Editor Pururaj Dutta in a now-deleted Apple Support video labeling the product in the Settings app.
Earlier this year, there was some speculation that AirTags might charge from the back of an iPhone due to an FCC filing.
AirTags have been in development in Apple for quite some time, it is Apple’s version of the Tile Tracker, which is a small device that can be attached to a keychain or a bag or a wallet, etc. that helps users locate the items if they get lost
AirTags are now rumored to launch in spring 2021 in a rumored April Event by Apple.
