Tweetbot 6 has been one of the newest app releases of 2021 and it has just gotten quite the update.

As of Tuesday, April 6, the app now has a new video player that has Picture-in-Picture support. It’s a feature that the regular iPhone and iPad Twitter apps have had for a little while.

Here is the official notes from the Tweetbot developers, Tapbots, which is Version 6.1:

– Totally redesigned video player with PIP support

– New set of custom icons

– New High Constrast Light theme

– Lots of bug fixes

On top of the Picture-in-Picture support, it also has a new Light Contrast theme as listed above, which you can see how that looks on the iPhone below.

You can read our review of Tweetbot 6. It is available in the App Store on the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, as well as the Mac. To get all of the premium features of Tweetbot 6, that will cost you $5.99 a year or $0.99 a month.
