Following a previous report earlier this month, Apple will reportedly launch new AirPods this year.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is set to launch a third-gen AirPods later this year. The new earbud will have a new case and a shorter stem, becoming more similar to the current AirPods Pro.
Things get more interesting when Gurman continues with the report, he is saying that Apple will launch a high-end AirPods Pro with a big focus on fitness tracking.
Gurman says that the second-gen AirPods Pro will feature a smaller design and updated motion sensors. Fitness Tracking will also be a big focus of the earbuds. So far the Apple Watch is the only Apple product with the ability to track the user’s fitness.
“The ”ŒAirPods Pro”Œ coming next year will be the first change to that product since October 2019 and will include updated motion sensors with a focus on fitness tracking, the people said, asking not to be named because the plans are private.”
AirPods are not the only audio product Apple is focusing on, Beats [owned by Apple] will launch a new Studio Buds after being spotted in the wild recently. This came up suddenly and from nowhere did we hear about the new earbuds being prepared for launch.
