Earlier, Kuo reported that the MacBook Pros with Mini-LED are on track for a Fall 2021 release. Now, he also stated that the Mini-LED will come to the next 11-inch iPad Pro, making the advanced technology standard across the future lineup of iPad Pros.

This year’s 12.9-inch iPad Pro is the first Apple product with Mini-LED display, but it didn’t make its way to the small model because of supply constraints. In fact, the technology has been very expensive that Apple raised the starting price of the 12.9-inch model by $100. As Apple plans to adopt this cutting-edge technology across more products, this will help bring down the overall costs of the display.

According to Kuo, the 2022 lineup will retain the same screen sizes as those of the current lineup – 11 and 12.9 inches. Other rumors regarding the next iPad Pro include a new glass-back design and larger screen sizes. However, it remains uncertain if these features will come to the next iteration.
