A big deal Apple once celebrated is now subtly going away.
Customers with the Paramount+ with Showtime bundle for $9.99 a month have casually found that the bundle is coming to an end.
The bundle was originally announced back in 2019 and was paired with CBS All Access and Showtime, but CBS All Access was rebranded as Paramount+, which launched in March 2021. It worked with Apple’s Apple TV app through Apple TV Channels.
Of course, this has made customers with the bundle irritated, as this end in the bundle has come as a surprise.
According to 9to5Mac, even though customers have not been happy about this, an Apple Support rep stated that the plan was only supposed to last for one year.
It is unknown if Apple or ViacomCBS, the owner of Paramount+ and Showtime, will ever come up with a new bundle in the coming months, but in the meantime, users can subscribe to ad-free Paramount+ through Apple TV Channels for $9.99 a month and Showtime for $10.99 a month.
