Best Buy is starting the week off with a big sale on one of Apple’s most popular laptops.
Today only, customers can get the previous generation silver 13-inch MacBook Pro with TouchBar with an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, for $999.99. This is a discount of $900 off the regular price.
Apple did release a new version of the 13-inch MacBook Pro last year with its own processor, the M1. The Mac listed above would still have one of Intel’s old processors in it.
While the M1 Macs might sound like a worthy purchase and investment, this is still a great price for a MacBook Pro with these specs.
Additionally, it is Back to School season in the United States and this laptop would still make for an excellent purchase for most students across the country, whether that is for high school or college. It might seem like overkill on spec for most students and consumers, but you could just think of it as future-proofing yourself.
