Before Apple TV+ originals went live, there were a few original series from Apple that premiered even before Apple TV+ existed – Planet of the Apps, which got canceled quickly, and Carpool Karaoke hosted by James Corden.
For years, the show has been made available on both Apple Music and Apple TV apps. Starting today, Apple is planning to renew its show with a fifth season after 18 months of hiatus due to pandemic-related productions issues. At the same time, Apple will brand this show as an Apple TV+ original series.
This Emmy-awarded series is actually quite difficult to search for on the Apple TV app nowadays, but this problem should be remedied soon when season 5 comes out. Because the TV app actually has a dedicated ‘Originals’ tab for you to easily find Apple TV+ originals, the upcoming season should be easy to find.
