We reported a few days ago that Apple had somewhat redone some of its Apple Pay stickers and signage for national and small businesses.
Appleosophy CEO Holden Satterwhite acquired an Apple Pay sticker kit and below you will see are some of the photos of the stickers and signs national and small businesses get to show that they accept Apple Pay in them.
One of the first notable stickers below is one that shows off Apple Card on an iPhone.
What makes this noteworthy is the fact that Apple doesn’t highlight another type of debit card like a U.S. Bank or Wells Fargo card or a credit card like a Visa or Capital One. Instead, it highlights its own credit card, Apple Card, yet still does not promote consumers into signing up for Apple Card.
As it stands currently, each customer that uses Apple Card from their iPhone or Apple Watch at a place that accepts Apple Pay will get 2% in Daily Cash. They get 1% in Daily Cash for using their physical titanium Apple Card and 3% in Daily Cash select businesses such as Duane Reade, Walgreens, Panera Bread, T-Mobile, Nike, Uber and UberEats.
Another notable Apple Pay sticker is the one that says, “A safer way to pay.”
The photos above simply highlight that using Apple Pay is more secure than inserting a credit or debit card into a chip reader at the register of a business, or sliding it, as some businesses still have that feature.
Apple’s kit also includes signage for employees at the business for how they can talk about Apple Pay at a business if a customer inquires about it.
Apple mentions below why contactless payment methods are so important right now, especially with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic still going on in the United States and across the world.
Lastly, Apple does provide directions on where and how to place its stickers in a business/store.
To get yourself or your business these stickers to show that it accepts Apple Pay, go to Apple’s Apple Pay page for businesses so you can get those stickers.
