Books you should be reading on Apple Books this fall

The fall and autumn time of the year is personally my favorite one, but it is also an excellent opportunity to get some reading done.

We have previously encouraged a lot of streaming TV shows, movies, and live sporting events over the course of the year, but perhaps it is time for us to encourage more reading.

And why not? It’s getting cooler out ever so gradually across the U.S. and so that gives us more of a reason to stay inside, get cozy, get a cup of hot chocolate or tea, and settle in with a good book.

With that said, here are the book you should be reading this fall on Apple Books:

  • “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” by Stephen Chbosky: With last month having Banned Books Week and schools across the country commencing their new school years, this is a great time to be reading a book like this. After you finish reading the book, you can reward yourself with the movie afterward. The book currently costs $11.99 on Apple Books.

  • “Harry Potter” J.K. Rowling: Just like watching the movies, the fall season is the perfect time of the year to get into the “Harry Potter” books. Since there are seven of them, there should be plenty for the average person to get to reading this fall and into the holiday season. Each book costs $11.99 on Apple Books but can be purchased entirely for $74.99 too.

  • “The Customer is Always Wrong” by Scott Seiss: For all of our retail and corporate office workers out there, this comedy book may just be for you. It deals with all of the usual and unconventional struggles that retail and white collar workers experience on a frequent basis. You might get a great chuckle out of it and should find aspects of the book to be pretty relatable. We’ve all been there before at some point, right? It is currently available for $11.99 on Apple Books.

  • ‘The Pumpkin Spice Cafe” Laurie Gilmore: I think this book screams this time of the year and is great for those looking for a nice, casual and romantic book to read this fall. It is currently available for just $0.99 right now on Apple Books.

  • “I, Justine” by Justine Ezarik: If you were ever wanting to know about the life and story of iconic YouTube content creator and massive Apple fan Justin Ezarik, also known as iJustine on YouTube, then this is what you need to read. It is currently available for $11.99 on Apple Books.

  • “No Rules Rule” by Reed Hastings and Erin Meyer: This book reveals the beginning founding and overall structure of how Netflix became the streaming juggernaut that it is today. It is available for $16.99 on Apple Books.

  • “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck” by Mark Manson: I read this book a while ago and while it is more so of a self-help book, it really is a great book for those to read if they are trying to get their lives in order or simply try something new. It is available for $12.99 on Apple Books.

  • “Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares” by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan: With the fall season does come the holiday season and that also means Christmastime. This is a great and fun book to read during that holidays. After you finish it, you can watch the one-season TV series on Netflix too. It is the first in a series as well. The book is currently available for $8.99 on Apple Books.

  • “Christmas by the Book” by Anne Marie Ryan: For those out there who enjoy a book version of a Hallmark Christmas film, this one could be the one for you to read. I personally just read the book this summer and while cheesy at times, I did find it to be quite engaging and I didn’t really want the story to end because there were some surprising moments in it too. It costs $7.99 on Apple Books.

  • “Coraline” by Neil Gaiman: Those of you that like scary, spooky, or horror books, this could be a good one for you to read. It’ll have a little bit of everything that you would want to read for this time of the year.It is currently just $1.99 on Apple Books.
