How to get a fireplace on your Apple TV in 2021

It’s that time of the year where some people in the country are not as fortunate to have a fireplace.

While this can happen for a variety of reasons, it is even true for me, the person writing this, as I do not have a fireplace in my apartment.

The good news is thanks to modern-day tech, this is an easy possibility. Basically a keystroke.

Here are the following methods this year:

  • Winter Fireplace app: This is a free app in the App Store on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Apple TV where you can view a fireplace right on your screen. There is currently a sale in the app where, on top of the two fireplaces you get standard with the app, you can get all 18 fireplaces in the app for just $2.99 in a bundled price. They are 4K compatible too.

  • 4K Fireplace app: For those that have the Apple TV 4K, this app for $1.99 in the App Store could be a good fireplace app too.

  • Pluto TV: There are a few channels on Pluto TV for the holiday season such as “Crackling Fireplace” that plays the cracks of a warm fireplace for you. Another related channel is one called “Festive Fireplace” which plays a fireplace with Christmas music playing in the background.

Do you plan on using any of these methods for a fireplace in your home this year? Comment below or let us know on Twitter at @appleosophy.
