Apple has announced that starting now, it will be donating some funds to help support (RED) this holiday season.

(RED) is a nonprofit organization that raises money to “fight the AIDS pandemic.” Currently, the organization is using its resources to help and support those going through the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year, Apple is stepping in so between now and Monday, December 6, each purchase made with Apple Pay in its Apple Stores or through its website, every $1 from those purchases will go to support the Global Fund.

Customers that are wanting to do more for (RED) and the Global Fund can either make a donation through its website and by purchasing Product (RED) Apple products such as the iPhone, iPod Touch, Apple Watch and Apple Watch bands.

This will also include purchases made with Apple Card, where customers can get 3% in Daily Cash on their purchase, on top of the $1 being donated to the (RED) Global Fund.

Do you plan on buying any products from Apple during this time and support the (RED) Global Fund? Comment below or let us know on Twitter at @appleosophy.
