Those that are looking to stream the NFL wildcard playoffs this weekend are in luck, as one of the games being broadcast will be shown in 4K quality.
This weekend, the Philadelphia Eagles vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers game that is set to be played at 1 p.m. ET, Sunday, January 16, on FOX will be broadcast in 4K.
Those who use YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, Sling TV (in select TV markets) and fuboTV can sign into the FOX NOW or FOX Sports apps in the tvOS App Store using their TV provider credentials and be able to stream the game live in 4K from the previously mentioned FOX apps.
YouTube TV subscribers will not be required to have the “4K Plus Add-On” in order to stream the games in 4K from the FOX apps, according to The Streamable.
Please note that the 4K quality will only be available on the Apple TV 4K and not on the Apple TV HD or other Apple devices like your average iPhone, iPad or Mac.
