So you’ve had your shiny, colorful 24-inch iMac for a nice, minimal desktop setup. What you will need to reduce clutter is Twelve South’s new BackPack. This company is well known for its accessories that are well-designed for Apple Products.

Specifically designed for the new iMac, this one serves as a storage rack for you to place external drives and hubs behind the computer. The new iMac has always been the most personal computer because of its variety of colors. The BackPack takes this level of personality even further. Use BackPack as a display shelf for all of your collectibles. After all, the back of the iMac is the first thing that people would see as it shows bold colors.

Setting it up is as simple as setting up the iMac itself. Just snap the two pieces of the holster into the power-cord opening onto the iMac stand and then slide the stand onto the holster. Do note that this accessory only comes in white, so no matching colors, unfortunately.

As a bonus, this accessory also comes with coated wire twists and an adjustable peripheral strap for you to organize your cables and set your external drives in place. The BackPack for the 24″ iMac is available to purchase now on TwelveSouth’s website for just $44.99. If you own an iMac, and you want to clean up your desk setup, this accessory will be an excellent choice for you. For other iMac models, check out the original BackPack.
