We are almost less than 24 hours before the start of the “Peek Performance” Apple event where Apple will unveil numerous products. Now, in a last-minute rumor, the company will add two new colors for the iPhone 13 and the upcoming iPad Air 5.
In an exclusive report by YouTuber Luke Miani (via AppleTrack), the Cupertino-based giant will show off two new colors for two products during tomorrow’s event:
- The iPhone 13 will gain a new “Dark Green” color that sits between the Mint iPhone 12 and the Midnight Green iPhone 11 Pro
- The upcoming iPad Air 5 will launch with a Purple color, similar to the one that debuted with the newest iPad mini
Apple did a similar approach with new colors during its April 20, 2021 event when it surprised everyone with a new Purple color for the iPhone 12 which was halfway through its update cycle. The iPhone 13 will have the same treatment, it won’t sport any new features, just a new Green color.
For the iPad Air 5, it will be a 2022 refresh with new features to keep it up to date with the rest of the iPad lineup such as 5G, Center Stage, A15 Bionic chip, 12MP ultra-wide front camera, and Quad-LED True Tone. So a new Purple Color is not the only new thing for the rumored product, it is just another addition to the many features.
Finally, Miani previews what he claims as to the first look of the Mac Studio hybrid product which will sit as a midrange machine between the Mac mini and the Mac Pro.
Apple is expected to announce new products on Tuesday’s anticipated “Peek Performance” event:
- iPhone SE 3
- 2022 iPad Air 5
- An entry-level MacBook Pro
- A new Mac mini
- A new 7K External Display
- A possible iMac Pro revival
- A new Mac Studio hybrid product
