By the end of this month, more products will be joining the Apple obsolete list.

A notable one that will be joining the list starting on Saturday, April 30, is the 11-inch MacBook Air.

The versions of that MacBook Air that will be on that list are the early-2014 model, the early-2014 13-inch MacBook Air and the mid-2014 MacBook Pro.

According to MacRumors, “Apple considers a product obsolete once seven years have passed since the company last distributed the product for sale.”

Apple originally discontinued the 11-inch MacBook Air back in October 2016.

Right now, Apple currently only sells the 13-inch MacBook Air that has the M1 chip in it. It has other capabilities such as Touch ID on its keyboard for functions such as unlocking the Mac and making purchases with Apple Pay.
