Yesterday, Apple officially discontinued the iPod Touch seventh generation, making it the last iPod in the lineup to be discontinued and the end of the iPod name and brand.

It has now been reported this morning by MacRumors that Apple has started to run out of certain models of the iPod Touch on its website. The way to know this is when you select the color and amount of storage on the iPod Touch, then you scroll below to where it says “Delivery.” If it says that shipping is not an option, that means that the model you have chosen is now sold out.

The last iPod to be released was the iPod Touch seventh generation in 2019, which has now been discontinued as of yesterday. It does still have a home button with Touch ID on it, as well as an A10 Bionic Chip. Oh, it also only has a four-inch screen that is similar to the original iPhone SE that was released in 2016.

Other retailers that also sell the iPod Touch seventh-generation online and in their stores are Best Buy, Amazon, Target, Walmart, Staples and others.

Do you plan on buying a new iPod Touch seventh generation before they are all gone? Comment below or let us know on Twitter at @appleosophy.
