Amazon recently rebranded an ad-supported streaming service called “Freevee” that is free but has no cost to it due to said ads in the content. It was previously IMDb TV.

The rebranding happened in late April 2022 and launched on the Apple TV yesterday, and was previously only available to stream on the iPhone, iPad and Mac. It is a free app for the iPhone, iPad and Apple TV in the App Store.

Original programs on Freeview include “Judy Justice,” “Alex Rider,” “Bosch: Legacy” and others. The service does include other picked up content such as Tim Allen’s “Crazy on the Outside,” eight seasons of “24” starring Kiefer Sutherland and the movie “Stuck in Love” with Greg Kinnear, Jennifer Connelly, Lily Collins and Logan Lerman.

The service is completely free to use and the only thing the viewer will need is an Amazon.com account to sign into Freevee.

What are your thoughts on Freevee? Do you plan on streaming it on the Apple TV or other Apple devices like the iPhone, iPad or Mac? Comment below or let us know on Twitter at @appleosophy.
