More new changes have been spotted for Apple Music for Student customers.
Those that will be signing up for it for the first time now look as though they have the option to get a free pair of Beats Flex Earphones from
This was discovered by Twitter user @tme_michael and seems to run through UNIDays, which is Apple’s partner when it comes to the Apple Music for Students subscription. He also revealed that it looks as though the offer has been going on since June 22.
New offer from Apple and Unidays, shortly after the Apple Music Student price hike – new Apple Music Student subscribers can claim a free pair of Beats Flex! Quite a generous offer.https://t.co/9NBvjor2Bi

This also comes after it was announced that Apple Music for Students would get a price increase from $4.99 a month to $5.99 a month. Previously, students never got any additional products with their subscription and the only other freebie for students was they would get Apple TV+ tossed in with their Apple Music subscription.
Apple’s offer for the Beats Flex Earphones with Apple Music for Students is currently only available in the U.S. and the U.K. All students will have to do to get the offer would be to pay for a month of Apple Music for Students at $5.99 a month and then have the service for 30 days. From there, users will get an email from Apple about how they can obtain their free Beats Flex Earphones. They’ll also be able to choose the color of earphones they want too.

Actually quite pissed. I’ve had the Apple Music student plan for about a year now, and Apple Music in general for longer than that. Now they are giving free Beats to their new customers and only raising the price for their loyal customers. Screw them, I’m switching to Spotify.
