One of the most exciting products that came out of Apple’s “Far Out” Event today was the Apple Watch Ultra, and we’re getting even more details about this interesting smartwatch. The Apple Watch Pro will ship with an all-new braided fast-charging cable for the first time on any Apple Watch model.
Apple has bundled braided charging cables with other products before, including the Mac Pro, the 24-inch iMac, and the redesigned MacBooks. These braided cables should offer better durability than the traditional cables that Apple sells. Although the just-announced iPhone 14 models do not include braided Lightning-to-USB-C cables, Apple could include those with next year’s iPhone 15 models.
Additionally, Twitter use @ianzelbo shared what the packaging for the Apple Watch Ultra looks like. As you can see, the package appears shorter and flatter compared to that of the standard models. The package also features a background image of the mountains to market this sports watch to outdoor adventurers. Enclosed are two boxes that house the Watch case and band separately.
