It looks like some of the countries in Asia are celebrating New Year’s in a very special, and Apple wants to be a big part of it. Earlier this week, Apple debuted the limited-edition AirTag in Japan. Now, Apple has released the limited-edition second-generation AirPods Pro with a special engraving to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit (2023).
This special edition will have an icon of the rabbit engraved on the wireless charging case as well as a box with a larger version of the icon in red. Other than that, it’s identical to the vanilla counterpart with no price changes.
In addition, between December 30 and January 2, customers can purchase select Apple products with discounts of up to 1,000 yen. This includes the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPad Air, iPad mini, iPad, MacBook Pro, and AirPods 2nd/3rd generation. Along with these discounts, Apple has offered limited-edition Chinese New Year cases for iPhone 14 models and will offer free Today at Apple sessions where iPhone customers can create and share a New Year portrait with their loved ones from January 6 to February 7.
Customers can look up the Chinese New Year gift guide to find the best products to buy. This year’s special-edition AirPods Pro will be available while supplies list with a limit of two per customer.
