Next week is bringing more goodies for fuboTV customers.
It was reported by The Streamable today that fuboTV will be adding all of the Bally Sports regional networks to its service on Monday, February 6.
This comes at a great time since spring training in the MLB is set to start later this month and the networks show local NBA games on most weekdays.
Here are the Bally Sports regional sports networks that will be added that day:
- Bally Sports Arizona
- Bally Sports Detroit
- Bally Sports Florida
- Bally Sports Great Lakes
- Bally Sports Indiana
- Bally Sports Kansas City
- Bally Sports Midwest
- Bally Sports New Orleans
- Bally Sports North
- Bally Sports Ohio
- Bally Sports Oklahoma
- Bally Sports San Diego
- Bally Sports SoCal
- Bally Sports South
- Bally Sports Southeast
- Bally Sports Southwest
- Bally Sports Sun
- Bally Sports West
- Bally Sports Wisconsin
To make this even better for subscribers, if they have a device like the Apple TV HD or Apple TV 4K, they will be able to use the live TV streaming service’s Multiview feature, which can show multiple games on different networks all at once, as well as provide live stats during games.
With baseball starting this spring and XFL starting later this month and going into mid-May, as well as the United States Football League (USFL) starting its new season this April, there would be plenty of use for this feature for subscribers on the Apple TV. It could be good for those trying to watch the NASCAR Cup Series race that weekend and catch the latest home run in their baseball game or slam dunk in an NBA game.
What adding Bally Sports regional networks can ultimately do for fuboTV is make it the true home for sports fans since it also has the ESPN networks, FOX Sports, Maquee Sports Network, AT&T Sportsnet, NFL Network, MLB Network, NHL Network, NBA TV, Big 10 Network, and PAC 12 Networks.
Additionally, it provides most local ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX stations for sports being played on those networks too. Both FOX and FS1 do broadcast select sporting events in 4K, which could be handy for Apple TV 4K users.
Not even Hulu with Live TV, YouTube TV, or Sling TV have Bally Sports networks. The only live TV streaming service to offer Bally Sports networks has been DirecTV Stream.
This all does not come without an extra cost, which could be the reason that the service added a $5 increase to each plan starting last month. The report says there could be more increases to the service with “an RSN fee of $11-$14 per month, depending on how many RSNs they have available in their market.”
FuboTV starts at $74.99 a month and is available to stream on the iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Mac. The app does sync with the Apple TV app too.
