As of today, those that have a DirecTV Stream box can now get the Apple TV app on it.

The box is a device from DirecTV and the app would enable the user to have access to the Apple TV, Apple TV+ content, MLS Season Pass, and Apple TV Channels, as well as rent and purchase movies and TV shows from iTunes.

The Apple TV app on the DirecTV Stream box will support most of the apps features such as 4K HDR quality and Dolby Atmos.

All the user has to do once they have downloaded the app is sign into it with their Apple ID and password.

Other devices outside of the Apple TV itself that have support for the Apple TV app are the Amazon Fire TV, Roku, PlayStation 4 & 5, XBOX Series X&S, XBOX One, Android Smart TVs, and others.
