Foot Locker now has support for Apple Business Chat

In a quiet and strange turn of events, the popular shoe store company Foot Locker now has support for Apple Business Chat.

Apple Business Chat enables iPhone, iPad, and Mac users the ability to speak with a customer service representative through text message via iMessage.

Other companies such as Best Buy, Kohl’s, Dick’s, and others have used it over the past couple of years so customers can reach out to customer service in order to get assistance with whatever issue they are having, but done in a way where the user does not have to do a phone call and sit on hold for God only knows how long.

After trying Foot Locker’s Business Chat, I was personally not able to get much of a response early on, so it is unclear how active its Business Chat is at this time. In fact, it took the company’s customer service about three hours to respond to my inquiry.

Still, Apple Business Chat is a great way for companies to do text-based customer service. The fact that it is all accessible through the company’s profile and location on Apple Maps is another plus too.
