Apple has just unveiled the highly anticipated update to the iOS Operating System ”“ iOS 17. With this new version of iOS, Apple brings in useful features such as NameDrop, StandBy, Live Voicemail, and more along with refinements across the system.

Additionally, iOS 17 has also added the ability to customize the Ringtone of your iPhone for each SIM Card. If you have Dual SIM set up on your iPhone, you can go into Settings>Sounds & Haptics>Ringtone, and then select your desired ringtone for each SIM Card. This is a useful feature, allowing users to differentiate and know which phone number is getting a call.

Do note that iOS 17 is still under development, it is currently only available to Developers for beta testing with it expanding to Public Beta Testers next month. For Beta Testing iOS 17 as a Developer, you need to have a Developer Account with Apple and turn on Beta Updates under Settings>Software Update. The update is expected to be released to the public in September this year along with the upcoming iPhone 15 series.
