Now that the first version of visionOS was released through the latest Xcode beta, developers and insiders have gotten even more insight into what features visionOS will offer. As previewed at WWDC, one of those features includes activating a virtual Environment to block out the real world around you whether you’re in a plane, a car, or even in your own living room. That way, you can experience the virtual world around you. You will be able to turn the Digital Crown to do so whenever you’re watching a movie, working with multiple windows, making calls, and so on.

Here are the initial environments that we’ll most likely see when Apple releases Vision Pro next year:

  • Haleakalā
  • Yosemite
  • Sky
  • Joshua Tree
  • Lake Vrangla
  • The Moon
  • Beach
  • White Sands
  • Winter Light
  • Fall Light
  • Summer Light
  • Spring Light

To try this yourself, you can download the Xcode beta here and run the simulator from there.
