Yesterday, Apple added the original iPhone SE that was released in March 2016 to its vintage products list.

The original iPhone SE was sold until September 2018, therefore, it has been five years since Apple last sold one which makes it so the product can be made “vintage” by the company.

When an Apple product is considered vintage, they are not always guaranteed to get repairs through Apple or Apple Authorized Services. The company can provide repairs for the product if there are parts available, though.

Since the original iPhone SE, Apple has released two other versions of the iPhone SE, with the most recent one being unveiled in March 2022 . It is also the only version of the iPhone to still have Touch ID.
