Apple has released several great products for this year. With 2023 coming to a close, here are the top 5 products that Apple released this year.
- EarPods (USB-C) – With the move from Lightning to USB-C on both the iPhone 15 and 15 Pro, it looks like Apple has never forgotten about its wired EarPods as it also introduced a USB-C version of them. What’s even better is that it’s more versatile than ever now it works with any device that has a USB-C port, even Android devices. So if you prefer to use wired headphones, you now have a first-party solution that works with your iPhone 15, iPad, and Mac.
- Apple Watch Series 9 – This introduction of the next generation of Apple Watch was the most substantial update to the lineup since the Series 6. Along with an increase in performance for the first time, you get the new Double Tap feature that allows you to perform quick common actions by tapping your fingers with just one hand. Other enhancements include faster on-device Siri, a brighter display, Precision Finding for iPhone, and the revamped watchOS 10 software experience.
- iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max – This year’s flagship iPhone marked the move from stainless steel to titanium for the frame, which allowed both models to feel lighter than their predecessors. Additionally, the A17 Pro chip not only brought a boost in performance/efficiency thanks to the new 3nm technology but also boasts hardware accelerated ray tracing that allows for rendering complex scenes when playing AAA games. The USB-C port now allows faster data speeds up to 10 Gbps for the first time, allowing users to transfer ProRes footage faster and to record that footage using external drives. The 15 Pro Max also gets a boost in camera specs now that it shoots up to 5x optical zoom.
- iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus – For anyone who’s looking at the regular iPhone models, this year’s lineup is the one to get as they have the most upgrades that customers would look for. Both of the models now adopted the Dynamic Island that was introduced in last year’s iPhone 14 Pro. Additionally, the slightly curved edges along the frame and the color-infused back gave the iPhone 15 models a more premium feel that doesn’t show fingerprints. You also get the same display found in the iPhone 14 Pro, minus the ProMotion technology and always-on display, which means you now get up to 2000 max brightness when viewing outdoors. Finally, thanks to the 48MP sensor for the main camera, you also get an additional 2x optical zoom, for a total of 3 optical zoom ranges.
- 15-inch MacBook Air – This year is a big one for the MacBook Air as Apple has introduced a larger version of its most popular laptop. Customers have been waiting for a larger Air for years. Previously, if you wanted a larger MacBook, you had to step up to the 16” Pro, which is not only much heavier but also quite a steep price jump considering that its performance and feature set are overkill for most everyday users. With the 15” Air now starting at $1299, customers can now appreciate the larger display without sacrificing portability. With several discounts on this machine right now, it might be the best-value laptop from Apple we’ve seen in years.
