Rivian app gets support for Live Activities

Avatar for David Becker

Yesterday, Rivian updated its app to give its users support for Live Activities.

For those that don’t know, Rivian is an American electric vehicle car brand and manufacturer and its app now gives users the ability to see the status of their vehicle charge while it is charging via Live Activities.

This came in Version 2.7.0 of the app that has the following updates:

  • Get real-time charging updates with our new charging Live Activity.
  • View the full breakdown with our updated charging session graph.
  • Checking on tire pressure? Select your pressure unit of choice.

In photos posted by @riviantrackr on Threads, it shows what the Live Activities look like on an iPhone’s Lock Screen as well as the Dynamic Island. Users will be able to see where their Rivian vehicle is at for charging, how much longer it has to go until a full-charge, and the speed of the charge.
