  • “Words on Bathroom Walls”: Honestly, I have personally seen this film and in the name of June being Men’s Mental Health Awareness month, this could be a good film to watch. It is currently on Starz to stream there.

  • “Flipped”: This one here can make for a good family film and open and educate more on what life and society was like back in the late American 1950s. It can be streamed on MAX.

Sports:

  • Los Angeles Dodgers vs. New York Yankees (MLB): Both teams are looking good this year and this game is available for a national audience. It will be played at 7 p.m. ET on Sunday, June 9, on ESPN.

  • MLB “Friday Night Baseball” on Apple TV+: You can see the schedule of games for “Friday Night Baseball” on Apple TV+ for this month here.

  • Minnesota Twins vs. New York Yankees (MLB): We are by no means Yankees fans but they are getting attention on national TV this month. With that said, this game will be played on Tuesday, June 4, on TBS and streaming live on MAX.

  • Iowa Corn 350 Powered by Ethanol (NASCAR Cup Series): Believe it or not, this is being raced in my home state of Iowa and is the first race of the season on NASCAR’s second broadcast home of its season, NBC Sports. This will be raced at 7 p.m. ET on Sunday, June 16, on USA Network.

  • 2024 NBA Finals: This year, the NBA Finals games will be between the Dallas Mavericks and Boston Celtics. The first game will be played at 8:30 p.m. ET on Thursday, June 6, on ABC.
