One of the longest holdouts on Apple Pay in the United States has been the popular and iconic home improvement retail chain Home Depot.
Many customers across the country have wanted to use Apple Pay at its stores but sadly, Home Depot does not support or accept Apple Pay as a payment method in its locations or online.
However, thanks to Instacart, it is possible to buy and get products through Home Depot and pay for it with Apple Pay. This is possible through both the Instacart app and website.
Simply add all of the items you want to your cart after selecting Home Depot as the store you want to shop at in the Instacart app or website. After you have added all of your items, go to the checkout where Apple Pay will be presented as a payment method for the purchase.
This is not the best fix in the world, but for those who strictly only want to use Apple Pay with their purchases, this is the best route to go for now.
Apple Card customers can get 2% in Daily Cash on each purchase they make through Instacart too.
If it is any consolation, Lowe’s did start accepting Apple Pay in its stores and on its app too.
