Yesterday, we reported about the dummy models for the regular iPhone 16 that Sonny Dickson showcased. Today, we got images of the dummy models for the iPhone 16 Pro that the same guy obtained. Those dummy models are used by case manufacturers to design cases for the upcoming smartphones ahead of their launch. With that said, based on those models, we can expect the iPhone 16 Pro to be largely identical to the current iPhone 15 Pro. Currently the iPhone 15 Pro comes in these colors:

  • Natural Titanium
  • Blue Titanium
  • White Titanium
  • Black Titanium

On a related note, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported that the iPhone 16 Pro will come in these colors:

  • Natural Titanium
  • Rose Titanium
  • White Titanium
  • Black Titanium

Based on the image of the dummy models, we can see that the Black Titanium model appears to be darker than its current iPhone 15 Pro counterpart. If the official Black Titanium finish turns out to be darker, this would be a similar move to what Apple has done with its Pro products when it introduced the all-new darker Space Black finish on both the MacBook Pro (M3 Pro/M3 Max) and iPad Pro (M4). On the other hand, the image omits the Rose Titanium color for the 16 Pro. This may be because Apple hasn’t finalized the highly-anticipated finish for its next Pro model. As the name may imply, the Rose Titanium is likely a shade of gold that Apple previously used with the iPhone XS and other products Apple introduced back then.

Other features we can expect for the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max are the A18 Pro chip and 8GB RAM to support Apple Intelligence later in the fall, a new capture button, an upgraded 48MP ultra-wide camera, and a tetraprism telephoto camera standard on both sizes. We expect Apple to announce the entire iPhone 16 Pro lineup in September at its annual Apple event.
