Apple TV 4K users can stream these three college football games in 4K on September 28

Another weekend of college football is coming and this is the last weekend of college football for the month of September, which is kind of exciting if you think about it.

With that said, here are the games you could be streaming in 4K on your Apple TV 4K this weekend:

  • Minnesota vs. Michigan – 12 p.m. ET on FOX
  • Colorado vs. UCF – 3:30 p.m. ET on FOX
  • Georgia vs. Alabama – 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN (ABC and ESPN+ will have the game too but only show the HD broadcast/stream)

When it comes to actually streaming those FOX Sports games live, fans will have to be subscribed to a live TV streaming service such as YouTube TV, FuboTV, DirecTV Stream, or Sling TV (Sling Blue or Sling Orange + Blue plans only, FOX only available in select TV markets on Sling TV) which all will have a FOX 4K channel. Those that have YouTube TV will also need to have the 4K Plus add-on for an additional $9.99 a month.

Another way to stream the FOX Sports games in 4K, when available, whether it is on FOX or FS1, is through the FOX Sports app. Those that use that route will have to sign in with valid TV provider credentials in order to stream the games live and in 4K from that app.

For streaming the ESPN game in 4K, that is said to be through ESPN 4K channels provided by YouTube TV, Sling TV, and other live TV streaming services.

The FOX and ESPN broadcast games in 4K are reported to be “upscaled” from 1080p.
