Apple just added refurbished models of the iPad 10 for a 15% discount on the original MSRP, just a few months after Apple added the previous generation iPad Air (M1) and iPad Pro (M2) models to its Certified Refurbished store. Refurbished products from Apple provide the same quality as new Apple products as they go through full functional testing, including a new battery and a new outer shell. All refurbished products and their manuals/cables are also repackaged in a white box, and they provide the same one-year limited warranty, eligibility for AppleCare+, and the same return policy.
The iPad 10 was introduced back in October 2022, bringing a more modern design for the first time on the base iPad. It features the A14 chip and comes in four vibrant colors. However, it did not immediately replace the iPad 9 because it started at $449. But in May of this year when Apple introduced the latest iPad Air and Pro, Apple dropped the starting price for the iPad 10 to just $349, making the iPad a much better buy for those who just want an iPad. Sure it doesn’t support Apple Intelligence, but it still gets the job done for everyday tasks.
At the time of this post, in the Certified Refurbished store, the 64GB Wi-Fi models are $299 ($349 new), and the 256GB Wi-Fi models are $419 ($499 new). However, the Wi-Fi + Cellular models aren’t available at the moment, and supplies for specific models (connectivity, storage, and color) do fluctuate from time to time.
However, Apple was kinda late to start offering refurbished models of the iPad as we’re already seeing better deals for the iPad 10. Currently, Amazon is offering sales on the iPad 10 for as low as $279, and that’s for the 64GB model. But we strongly recommend upgrading the storage to 256GB if you want to store a lot of apps, content, and more, and those can be picked up for $429, and those models are in new condition.
The breakdown of the sales for the iPad 10 on Amazon are:
- 64GB Wi-Fi: $279
- 256GB Wi-Fi: $429
- 64GB Wi-Fi + Cellular: $429
- 256GB Wi-Fi + Cellular: $579
Apple will offer a $50 Apple Gift Card when you purchase an iPad 10 during its Shopping Event from Nov. 29 to Dec. 2, but you’ll still be paying the iPad full price, so Amazon’s deal is a much better buy if you don’t care about the gift cards.
