Thanksgiving is coming and those that have the Apple TV 4K are in luck since they will be able to stream one of the 2024 NFL Thanksgiving Day games live in 4K.
That game will be the Giants vs. Cowboys that will be played at 4:30 p.m. ET on FOX. It will be the first game of the 2024 NFL season that will be broadcast in 4K.
When it comes to actually streaming that FOX game live in 4K, fans will have to be subscribed to a live TV streaming service such as YouTube TV, FuboTV, DirecTV Stream, or Sling TV (Sling Blue or Sling Orange + Blue plans only, with FOX only available in select TV markets on Sling TV) which all will have a FOX 4K channel.
Those that have YouTube TV will also need to have the 4K Plus add-on for an additional $9.99 a month.
Another way to stream the game in 4K is through the Apple TV FOX Sports app. Those that use that route will have to sign in with valid TV provider credentials in order to stream the games live and in 4K from that app.
Historically speaking, the FOX Sports broadcast games available to stream in 4K are typically upscaled from 1080p. You will also need a compatible streaming device like the Apple TV 4K in order to stream these games in 4K.
