Apple’s Magic Mouse to get brand new redesign according to new report

Avatar for David Becker

It has been reported by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman that Apple is looking into doing a complete redesign of the Magic Mouse.

This comes after the company just released a new version of the Magic Mouse this fall that now has a USB-C port instead of the previous Lightning port.

Gurman states that Apple is “aiming to devise something that better fits the modern era.”

One of the top criticisms of the current Magic Mouse design is that the charging port is on the bottom of it, making it so it cannot be used when it is charging.

His report also says that Apple is looking to release it in the next 12-18 months, therefore, it is to be expected that the new Magic Mouse would not be released until sometime in 2026.

Apple’s current USB-C-supported Magic Mouse is available in white for $79 and in black for $99.
