With the upcoming college football season starting this weekend, we will be seeing not one, but two new live TV streaming services launching tomorrow, August 21.
ESPN is launching its own standalone streaming services that will simply be referred to as “ESPN” and will include all live ESPN channels, as well as live sporting events that air on ABC.
The channels that will be included with ESPN are ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN U, SEC Network, ACC Network, ESPNEWS, ESPN Deportes, along with ESPN+, SECN+, and ACCNX.
Users can expect to stream popular sporting events across many leagues and organizations such as the NFL, MLB, NBA, WNBA, NHL, college football and college basketball, and others.
The starting price for the ESPN streaming services will be $29.99 a month and will be available to sign up for and view through the ESPN app.
FOX One is the other streaming service launching tomorrow. It will include national live FOX programming, your local FOX station, FOX Sports 1 (FS1), FOX Sports 2 (FS2), Big Ten Network, FOX News, FOX Business, FOX Weather, FOX Deportes, and FOX Networks.
What makes the FOX One streaming service a tad bit more interesting is that when FOX Sports has games available in upscaled 4K UHD, like it has done frequently with college athletics, those games in said 4K UHD will be available to stream on FOX One through devices like the Apple TV 4K.
FOX One will start at $19.99 a month and can be bundled with FOX Nation for $24.99 a month.
There is a planned bundle for ESPN and FOX One that would combine the streaming services together that is expected to launch on Thursday, October 2, for $39.99 a month.
Both streaming services will be available to stream on the iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Mac.
