For several years, Apple has been unveiling new watch faces when it introduces new Apple Watch models, and this week’s event is no exception as Apple showcased four new watch faces to complement its latest Apple Watch lineup going into 2026.
Here’s how Apple describes the following new watch faces, according to its release notes for watchOS 26:

Exactograph is a modern re-imagination of a traditional regulator watch which separates out hours, minutes, and seconds for more precise timekeeping

Flow uses Liquid Glass numerals that refract a fluid orb of color that responds to your wrist movements

Waypoint acts as a live compass that shows where you are in relation to saved locations in Maps or points of interest (Available on Apple Watch Ultra)

Hermès Faubourg Party features animated shorts that appear based on the time of day or your movements, with a series of characters (Available on Apple Watch Hermès)
As the release notes mentioned, some watch faces are available to only some Apple Watch models. The Waypoint watch face is made exclusively for Apple Watch Ultra, and this watch face joins the two Ultra-exclusive watch faces: Wayfinder and Modular Ultra. Furthermore, the Hermès Faubourg Party watch face, as the name implies, is available to only Apple Watch Hermès models. Apple has been offering the Apple Watch Ultra Hermès, so theoretically, if you want to access all the watch faces, including the new ones above, you’d have to pick this model, which would set you back at least $1,399.
The good news is that all of the newly-announced watch faces are coming to other Apple Watch models that are compatible with watchOS 26, which also brings an updated Photos watch face to feature the Liquid Glass numerals. watchOS 26 will be released to the public on Monday, September 15. Keep in mind that the paired iPhone model must have iOS 26 installed for you to install watchOS 26 on your Apple Watch.
iOS 26 supports iPhone models with the A13 Bionic chip or later, and watchOS 26 supports the following Apple Watch models:
- Apple Watch Series 6 and later
- Apple Watch Ultra (all models)
- Apple Watch SE 2 and later
