With the release of iOS 26 last week, there have been mixed remarks about the new Liquid Glass design. Up until now, users had the option to downgrade back to iOS 18.6.2, which was released a month ago.
However, as expected, Apple has stopped signing iOS 18.6.2 as pointed out by Aaron Perris on X. This means that users who upgraded to iOS 26 will no longer be able to downgrade back to iOS 18.
You can no longer downgrade from iOS 26 as Apple has just stopped signing iOS 18.6.2

Along with iOS 26, Apple also released iOS 18.7 last week for older devices. This version is still being signed; however, the IPSW files for devices that can update to iOS 26 aren’t available.
That is still signed but no IPSW files for those that can update to 26
