Beats today announced the launch of its newest earbuds: the Powerbeats Fit earbuds. Positioned as the natural successor of the well-received Beats Fit Pro, these new earbuds promise improved comfort and stability without sacrificing the premium features users have come to expect.
The Powerbeats Fit features a true wireless in-ear design with soft, flexible wingtips that provide a secure, universal fit for ears of various shapes and sizes. Unlike traditional earhooks, these wingtips tuck under the upper ear ridge for enhanced stability during intense activities like running or gym sessions. The earbuds include four silicone ear tip sizes. With an IPX4 rating for sweat and water resistance, they are built to withstand challenging conditions.
At the core of the Powerbeats Fit is a custom acoustic platform that delivers powerful, balanced sound with deep bass and clear highs—Beats’ signature profile ideal for motivating playlists. Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) uses microphones to detect and counter external sounds, creating a focused listening environment. For situations requiring awareness, Transparency Mode allows ambient noise to filter in naturally. Additional features include Adaptive EQ for tailored audio, Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking for an immersive experience, and dual beam-forming microphones for clear calls by minimizing background noise like wind. Smart sensors enable Auto-Play/Pause when the earbuds are inserted or removed.
Battery performance has seen an upgrade: up to 7 hours of playback per earbud on a single charge, extending to 30 hours with the compact charging case, which is 17% smaller than its predecessor. Fast Fuel offers up to 1 hour of use from just a 5-minute charge. On-device controls via customizable ‘b’ buttons allow users to manage music, calls, listening modes, volume, or voice assistants effortlessly.
The Powerbeats Fit integrates seamlessly with both Apple and Android ecosystems. Powered by the Apple H1 chip, iOS users benefit from one-touch pairing, Automatic Switching between devices, Audio Sharing, hands-free “Hey Siri,” and Find My functionality. Android compatibility is enhanced through its app, providing access to similar features.
Priced at $199.99, the Powerbeats Fit offers competitive value in the premium fitness earbuds segment. They are available in four colors: Jet Black, Gravel Gray, Spark Orange, and Power Pink.
