Apple is continuing to update its app portfolio with its “Liquid Glass” design language, and the latest app to get the makeover is Shazam. A new version of the popular music recognition app is rolling out globally today, bringing a fresh aesthetic and some welcome functional improvements for iPhone users.

This update overhauls the app’s look and feel, making it more modern and consistent with Apple’s latest design direction. Throughout the app, you’ll find more transparency and new, fluid animations for pop-up menus. The entire experience feels cleaner and more visually integrated into the latest version of iOS.

The main controls are now part of a revamped toolbar at the bottom of the screen, giving you clear tabs for Home, Library, and Concerts. This change makes it much faster to jump between the app’s key sections.

Your most recently Shazamed songs now appear directly on the Home screen, making it much easier to find and revisit the music you’ve just discovered without digging through your library.

You’ll also notice the search icon is no longer in the main toolbar. It has been moved to its own dedicated button in the bottom-right corner of the app. This makes the search function a distinct action, simplifying the primary navigation bar.

This new Shazam experience is available now and is rolling out globally via the App Store. To see the new design, you’ll need to make sure your device is running iOS 26 and update your app to the latest version.
