If you think Apple isn’t done with selling limited-edition accessories, think again. Apple started selling another limited-edition accessory for the iPhone called the “Hikawa Phone Grip and Stand,” which was designed by LA-based Bailey Hikawa in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of accessibility at Apple.
Since this accessory is MagSafe compatible, not only does it conveniently attach to/detach from the back of a MagSafe-supported iPhone model, but it also features a hole for people with disabilities to easily hold the iPhone. This accessory also allows two viewing angles, whether the iPhone is in portrait or in landscape orientation.
This accessory came in Chartreuse and Crater, and this accessory retailed for $69.95; however, at least in the United States, this accessory is now sold out at the Apple Online Store. This was the second limited-edition accessory that Apple offered this month, with the first being the iPhone Pocket, which was designed in collaboration with ISSEY MIYAKE, who also designed Steve Jobs’ famous turtle neck. The iPhone Pocket was a designer accessory that functioned as a crossbody pouch for your iPhone, and its design largely paid homage to the iPod socks back in 2004. The iPhone Pocket retailed for $149.95 (for shorter ones) and $229.95 (for longer ones), and perhaps unsurprisingly, that accessory sold out within several hours.
