With the highly anticipated iPhone Fold expected to launch next fall, many analysts have suggested that it will be priced substantially higher than Apple’s most expensive model – the iPhone 17 Pro Max. But how much will it cost? According to analyst Arthur Liao at Fubon Research, he suggests that the iPhone Fold will start at approximately $2,399. This price point aligns more closely with other well-known analysts. Ming-Chi Kuo expects the starting price to be between $2,000 and $2,500, while Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman anticipates a price of around $2,000.
It shouldn’t come as a surprise since the iPhone Fold is expected to feature some of the most advanced technology in any foldable phone. In fact, according to the Chinese site UDN, Apple was able to engineer a foldable display that is crease-free. This would be a huge engineering feat because, as you may know, the biggest weakness in many foldable phones is that they often have this noticeable crease along the display. While other companies have started offering foldable phones before Apple, Apple may be the one that will do it best.
Come to think of it, it would be more fitting to call this foldable phone the “iPhone Ultra,” as suggested by 9to5Mac,since Ultra implies the “cream of the crop.” We have both the M-series Max and Ultra chips, and Apple even has the Apple Watch Ultra. The supposed iPhone Ultra will certainly be Apple’s most advanced iPhone that the company has ever developed. Another rumor suggests that the iPhone Ultra could pioneer the 24-megapixel under-display camera, and that this phone will feature four cameras in total – one outer on the front side, one inner, and two rear camera (Ultra Wide and Wide).
