Even though this M2 MacBook Air is technically a few generations old, there’s still a lot to love about this MacBook, especially when you’re coming from an Intel MacBook. For one, you’re getting a much better-quality 1080p web camera. Additionally, you’re getting MagSafe 3 for convenient charging while letting you use both Thunderbolt / USB-C ports. The built-in headphone jack also supports high-impedance headphones, and this laptop also features an upgraded speaker system (four speakers on the 13-inch model). You’ll also get a more modern design that’s identical to that of the current M4 MacBook Air.
There have been several rumors indicating that Apple will launch a more affordable 13-inch MacBook with the A18 Pro next spring, with a price range expected to be around $699 to $899. However, this machine will certainly feature some compromises, as the A18 Pro doesn’t support Thunderbolt connectivity, only USB connectivity.
