Apple TV 4K users can stream the 2026 Winter Olympics in 4K

It has been announced by the folks over at NBCUniversal and NBC Sports that NBC and Peacock will be the homes for streaming the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.

Coverage on both NBC and Peacock will begin at 7 a.m. ET on Sunday, February 8, and afterward NBC will begin hosting its Super Bowl LX coverage that same day at 12 p.m. ET.

This is additionally the first time ever that the Olympics and Super Bowl will be shown in 4K HDR.

What makes this even more compelling for fans of the Olympics is the fact that Peacock will be premiering its “fan-favorite” Multiview feature. This enables Peacock users to get multiple events playing on one singular screen at once.

“In an industry first, Peacock’s popular Multiview feature will extend to mobile, launching in beta for the Winter Games. The four-box vertical display will showcase the top four events at any given time, as well as an event-specific Multiview for curling, all curated by NBC Sports producers…” NBCU said in a press release.

The best and most practical way to stream the Olympics in said 4K HDR will be through devices like the Apple TV 4K, along with subscribing to Peacock.

Peacock currently costs $10.99 a month for its Premium Plan and $16.99 a month for its Premium Plus ad-free tier.

There are two bundles with this as well, which bundle with Apple TV (formerly Apple TV+) for $14.99 a month with ads or $19.99 a month without ads. Please note that the bundles would only have ads on Peacock, not Apple TV.

Peacock is available to stream on the iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Mac.
