Apple’s radical MacBook Neo comes in fun colors, and it will launch on Wednesday, March 11, but if you’re interested in picking one up, you may want to act fast because let me tell you: shipping dates for some models have begun to slip past the launch date. At the time of this writing, here are the shipping dates for all the colors/storage configurations. Note that you could only configure either the color or storage – nothing else, such as memory, due to the A18 Pro chip’s configuration.
- Silver/256GB: March 11
- Blush/256GB: March 16 – March 23
- Citrus/256GB: March 11
- Indigo/256GB: March 11
- Silver/512GB: March 11
- Blush/512GB: March 23 – March 30
- Citrus/512GB: March 23 – March 30
- Indigo/512GB: March 23 – March 30
Assuming that the supply is the same for all configurations, in summary, it seems that the Blush models and most 512GB models are becoming more popular and seeing higher demand. The shipping dates for both storage configurations in Silver aren’t impacted.
One tidbit to point out is that the 512GB has Touch ID built in, whereas the 256GB just has the Lock Key. Still, it’s highly worth the storage upgrade considering that it’s just $100 to get the 512GB model.
