Apple has released watchOS 6.2 along with iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4 to the public. The build number for this latest update is 17T529

This update includes new features, improvements and bug fixes to watchOS 6 which are:

1. In-App Purchases: This update enables In-App Purchases for watchOS Apps. This is great news for Apple Watches as they are gradually becoming an independent device. The most important step taken by Apple to make the Apple Watch an independent device was to introduce Cellular connectivity on it. This feature takes it a step further.

2. Fix for Music Playback: This update includes a fix for an issue which may pause Music Playback while switching from Wi-Fi to Bluetooth.

3. ECG App: The ECG feature was introduced on the Apple Watch Series 4 in late 2018. Apple has added support for 3 more countries – Chile, New Zealand and Turkey. Apple has also added the feature for Irregular heart rhythm notifications to these countries.

Apple has also released watchOS 5.3.6 for Apple Watches linked with an iPhone which does not support iOS 13.

Go to the Apple Watch App on your iPhone, Tap General, then Tap Software Update and go ahead and update your Apple Watch to the latest software.
