Apple has finally announced its refreshed iPhone SE after so many leaks & rumors. Apple announced this new product via a press release. The tagline for this new iPhone is “Lots to Love. Less to Spend”.
As rumored earlier, this iPhone SE has an iPhone 8 design with a 4.7 inch Retina HD Display with Touch ID inbuilt into the Home Button. This iPhone is powered by the A13 Bionic chip, the same chip which powers the iPhone 11 series. It Single camera setup, which now supports portrait mode along with Portrait Lighting and Depth Control. It shoots videos at 4K 60fps. The camera performance has been improved significantly on this refreshed iPhone SE.

This iPhone is meant for users who want the latest groundbreaking features but in a smaller form factor. The refreshed iPhone SE starts at a price as low as $399 with three storage options – 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. There are three color variants – Black, White, and (Product) RED.
The iPhone SE has E-Sim Support, WiFi 6, Stereo Audio Recording, Haptic Touch, and True Tone. It has an IP67Â Resistance Rating (1 meter for 30 minutes). Water damage is not covered under Warranty. This iPhone has most of the features from the newer iPhones with a blazing-fast A13 Bionic Chip and Wireless charging support.
The aim of the Special Edition iPhone is give users newer features in a smaller form factor and to reach more users globally with its low pricing. The first iPhone SE was released in the beginning of 2016, and had almost the same features as the iPhone 6s, which was the latest iPhone of 2015.
The new & refreshed iPhone SE will be available to preorder on April 17th at 5 a.m. PDT and will be available for purchase on the 24th of March 2020. The 64GB variant costs $399, the 128GB variant costs $449 and the 256GB variant costs $549.
