Lately, we have been covering multiple retail stores dropping support for Apple Pay on their websites.
This has been discovered over the last couple weeks, with both Staples and JCPenney showing no signs of Apple Pay support for its websites. At one time, they both accepted it on each of their websites.
Now Kohl’s is the next company to withdraw Apple Pay support from its website. As you can see from the photos below, the checkout screen is different. Note that there is no Apple Pay support on either its desktop or mobile websites.
We knew about this because I personally used Apple Pay on Kohl’s mobile website last fall, where I purchased a Steve Jobs-related item for a Halloween costume I was putting together for a work celebration.
The good news is that there is a silver lining to this. Kohl’s iOS app and retail stores still accept Apple Pay.
We will see if Kohl’s keeps accepting Apple Pay in its stores once they reopen after the coronavirus pandemic is either over or diminishes enough to the point where customers can be in the stores again.
Hoping somebody knows because I can’t remember can I use coupons on a Shark vacuum
