Your brand new iPhone SE will run iOS 13.4 out of the box. Apple had also released iOS 13.4.1 for the iPhone SE (2nd Generation) yesterday before it’s official launch. It is highly recommended to update your iPhone SE (2nd Generation) to iOS 13.4.1 once you have set it up! Go to Settings>General>Software Update to update your iPhone SE to the latest available public version of iOS. This update fixes a critical bug where iOS 13.4 users are unable to communicate with devices running iOS 9.3.6 and earlier or OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 and earlier via FaceTime.  Read more about it here. iOS 13.4.5 beta is also available for the iPhone SE (2nd Generation). Read about it here.
